5 Smoothies For Weight Loss

The best way to know the exact ingredients in your smoothie is to make them yourself. All you need is a blender, fruit and a base, such as water, milk or yogurt.  Lets Get Started; 


Apple Smoothie 1

1. The Green Candle

  • 1/2 cup of skim milk or soy milk
  • 6 ounces of vanilla yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of apple pie spice
  • 1 medium-sized, chopped apple
  • 2 tablespoons of cashew butter
  • 6 ice cubes
  • Blend until smooth.

Mixed Berry

2. Mixed Berry Blast

  • 1 cup of fresh or frozen berries
  • 1/2 cup of non-fat vanilla or plain yogurt
  • Ice (optional)
  • Blend until smooth.


3. All The GreensGreen Smoothie

  • 2 stalks Celery
  • 2 Pears
  • 2 cups Spinach
  • 1 1/2 cup Water
  • Blend until smooth.




4.  PB & Bananna Peanut Banana

  • Half of one banana
  • 1/2 cup smooth or crunchy low-fat peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup of non-fat milk
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon of chocolate whey protein powder
  • Blend until smooth.


 5. Blueberries BreakfastBlueberry smoothie

  • 1/2 of a large banana
  • 1/3 cup of soy protein
  • 1/2 tablespoon of flaxseed oil
  • 1/4 cup of frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 tablespoon of apple juice concentrate or honey
  • 1 teaspoon of psyllium seed husks
  • 8 ounces of water
  • Break the banana into pieces, place all the ingredients into your blender, and blend until mostly smooth.
